Hello, I'm Ekaterina Kachavina, a product designer based in Berlin with many years of experience. With a background in graphic design and art direction, I earned my MA from Saint Petersburg Art University and honed my UX/UI skills at Ironhack in Berlin. During my time as a Product Design Consultant at Uploadcare Inc. I played a key role as a founding designer, taking projects from 0 to launch through Round C funding. I was responsible for developing design systems, conducting UX testing, and creating intuitive UI designs. Additionally, as a Senior Digital Designer and Team Lead at Whitescape OÜ in, I led product research and analysis to deliver user-centric designs. I also reviewed client analytics to inform data-driven design decisions, and developed comprehensive design systems with a focus on UX testing and UI My career has seen me serve as the art director at Daimler Print Magazines, creative and design director at Telekom Electronic Beats, and as a graphic designer specializing in immersive installations for B2B showrooms at companies like Aramco and OMV. My diverse portfolio also includes significant experience with large corporate clients in various industries.

I have worked extensively with major companies such as BMW, Asus, Daimler, and Telekom, where I have curated internal digital design and marketing communications, reviewed analytics and data-driven design strategies, and led creative teams to deliver impactful solutions. My experience spans multiple industries, including automotive, insurance, MedTech, GovTech, energy, e-commerce, and HR, allowing me to develop a well-rounded skill set that combines creativity with strategic business thinking.

I am particularly passionate about exploring the interaction between people and product-service systems, continuously seeking new avenues to create bridges between clients and users. My design approach centers around solving problems for both users and businesses, ensuring a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics.
